How do you bring your vision to life, in all conditions?

Today, societal, climate, technological, and geopolitical transitions are converging.

They are generating high-intensity and long-duration crises, creating unprecedented levels of uncertainty.

.

In this context, it has never been more challenging to stay the course, make decisions, and mobilize teams.

.

And yet, we are convinced that collective performance precedes economic performance.

.

That is why we help leaders navigate uncertainty and secure the execution of their strategy

through a managerial model proven in high-intensity and long-duration crisis environments.

.

We specialize in crisis management and sustainable managerial performance.

.

We deliver keynote talks to create awareness,

and operational advisory support and training programs to create the conditions for action.

.

With each leader, we define the format best suited to their context, challenges, and objectives.

Our Vision

From the very first days of our 25 years in operational management, we have been convinced that collective performance precedes economic performance.

.

By observing the societal, climate, technological, and geopolitical transitions reshaping our world, we came to understand that they would generate major strategic disruptions across the workplace.

.

We anticipated that these transitions would converge, placing organizations in a sustained state of high-intensity and long-duration crises.

.

As operational leaders in the field, it seemed impossible to face such levels of uncertainty and complexity using only the managerial models inherited from the past.

.

That is why, as early as 2019, we designed a comprehensive managerial model integrating the impact of these transitions, a deep understanding of human functioning, managerial practices adapted to complex environments, lessons drawn from elite units (Special Forces, RAID, DGSE), high-performance sports practices, and the concrete steering of individual and collective performance.

.

It enables leaders to navigate uncertainty and secure the execution of their strategy, in all conditions, by mobilizing fulfilled and engaged teams capable of sustaining performance in uncertainty.

.

A robust and sustainable managerial model designed to face high-intensity and long-duration crises.

.

We call it Augmented Sustainable Leadership.

The leadership of the 21st century, serving sustainable management.

.

Recognized as a managerial innovation, it was selected to be presented at ChangeNOW in 2025 and 2026, at the Grand Palais in Paris.

The Story of Rise & Care

It is in Vendée that Rise & Care takes its roots, in our very first shared managerial experience, 25 years ago.

.

From the very beginning, we wanted to place people at the heart of our management, even though we did not yet have all the keys to act with clarity and precision.

.

Our first management trainer was a former pilot from the Special Forces. He showed us how, in that environment, the human factor is the decisive driver of mission success. He instilled in us the conviction that only the collective can face uncertainty, and that effective management is impossible without a deep understanding of human functioning.

.

That encounter profoundly shaped our lives as managers.

.

Over 25 years of operational management, confronted with real situations of transformation and high complexity, our vision gradually took shape and became structured.

.

The subprime crisis reinforced our conviction that existing managerial models were not designed to withstand uncertainty over the long term. It then took ten more years of field experience, experimentation, reading, and reflection to transform that intuition into a fully developed model.

.

In 2019, we began to design and implement it. It was notably tested during the COVID crisis, in a context of extreme uncertainty, where collective performance made it possible to preserve economic performance.

.

At the end of that period, we chose to share it by founding Rise & Care, a consulting firm specialized in crisis management and sustainable managerial performance.

.

To structure and strengthen it, we invested in a research and development approach in human and social sciences, in partnership with ETHER, a firm specialized in social innovation.

.

This is how Augmented Sustainable Leadership was born.

From high-intensity crises to long-duration crises

Today, the combined impacts of societal, climate, technological, and geopolitical transitions are generating major strategic disruptions that are placing organizations in a permanent state of high-intensity and long-duration crises.

.

Alain Bauer, Professor of Criminology at the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (CNAM) and head of its Security, Defense, Intelligence, and Criminology Department, developed this concept in his book In the Beginning Was War.

.

His distinction is fundamental: a high-intensity crisis consists of sudden shocks and events that strike hard and fast. A long-duration crisis is the state we have entered — a continuous condition with no return to normal, requiring the ability to endure over time.

.

In Japanese, the word for crisis, kiki (危機), is written with two characters that perfectly reflect this dual nature. 危 means “danger” — the high-intensity crisis, the sudden shock that strikes hard and fast. 機 refers to a “turning point from which opportunity emerges” — the long-duration crisis, carrying hope for those who succeed in adapting to it.

.

A long-duration crisis is a state of simultaneous, multifactorial tensions that gradually wear down existing models rather than destroying them abruptly.

.

Faced with this reality, a managerial model must combine two essential qualities: robustness — the ability to withstand shocks, maintain decision-making under pressure, and keep teams aligned; and sustainability — the ability to bend without breaking, absorb prolonged strain, adapt, learn, and endure over time. It is no longer one or the other. It is both together.

.

The challenge is to sustain the engagement of human capital over the long term in order to preserve performance and ensure business continuity. Collective performance precedes economic performance.

.

This is precisely what Augmented Sustainable Leadership is designed to achieve.

.

The real question today is no longer whether a crisis will occur.

It is how to continue bringing a vision to life, mobilizing teams, and preparing for the future in a world where crises converge and become a permanent reality.

Augmented Sustainable Leadership

A managerial model designed to navigate uncertainty and secure the execution of strategy, in all conditions.

.

Augmented Sustainable Leadership is built on five complementary pillars that structure, secure, and measure collective performance:

.

🔹 Integrating the impacts of societal, climate, technological, and geopolitical transitions that are reshaping the world of work

🔹 Understanding human functioning, grounded in validated research in human and social sciences as well as cognitive neuroscience

🔹 Mobilizing the managerial postures and dynamics required to build and lead fulfilled, engaged teams capable of sustaining performance in uncertainty

🔹 Integrating methods drawn from elite units and high-performance sports to prepare for and act effectively under pressure over the long term

🔹 A concrete approach to steering individual and collective performance, enabling organizations to measure what truly matters

.

Mastering the articulation of these five pillars reduces blind spots, secures decision-making, and sustainably strengthens collective performance.

.

By design, Augmented Sustainable Leadership applies to all management roles, regardless of the size of the organization or the industry in which it operates.

The benefits for companies

Augmented Sustainable Leadership places leaders, managers, and teams in the best possible conditions to sustain performance in uncertainty.
